Having backpacked around Europe & Asia and dealt with the trials and tribulations of what works, what doesn't and what is essential- here is our take at Kitten;
* Silk Beach sarong- (double up as beach towel & cover up after showering or swimming) dries easily. light and rolls up small- easy to carry
* Mosquito coils- not always available to buy but worth their weight in gold
*Pashmina- used for a scarf, wrap, hat or just to add a bit of colour to an outfit
* Candle- (scented freshen up a room) provide a light when in areas of frequent power failure and the walk of terror to the bathroom
* A great book- for endless rail & bus journeys
